Exhibited Items
13.
All items must be for sale with a maximum selling price of £300. Excceptionally, a single item can exceed this amount (please contact to discuss).
Providing items with a range of sizes and prices may encourage sales of your work.
14.
As far as it is possible, all the work submitted by an artist will be displayed together. This is not guaranteed - items may have to share space with the work of other artists.
15.
Please ensure that all entries detailed on the entry form are available for the exhibition. See paragraph 6 regarding last-minute substitutions.
16.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse work which is deemed inappropriate.

Please ask if you would like to be provided with small item cards like this example. This is not a substitute to the label mentioned in the previous sub-paragraph. These measure 35 x 69 mm.
18.4
It is difficult to be too precise about how much space will be available for 3D items but in the past a table top of about three quarters of a square metre has been allocated. Depending on many factors more space may be available.

Greetings Cards
20.
Artists may bring up to one shoe-box full of Greetings Cards of their work.
20.1
All greetings cards must be marked with both the artist's name and the selling price.
If at all possible, please have all your greetings cards at the same price. You may offer a reduction for, say, three or five greetings cards.
20.2
Please let us know how much you are charging for your cards at least a week before the exhibition.
20.3
A Box that stands on four legs will be provided. It has internal dimensions of 250 wide x 105 high x 290 deep.
20.4
A Label with the price(s) will be provided.
Pot Luck
21.
For a number of years our Artists have generously donated a piece of their work which is assigned a number. Our visitors pay £10 and are invited to choose one of the numbers and the associated piece of work is theirs.
21.1
We ask Artists for whom it is appropriate to gift aid their donated item(s) to the amount of its usual selling price. In this way we are able to claim tax on the donation.
21.2
Recipients are always pleased to know who made the item. So please label your item(s) in some way – perhaps attaching a business card.
Fees and Commissions
22.
There will be an administration fee of £10 per artist payable within one week of acceptance of a place. Please make cheques payable to Hempstead Church and send to the contact shown in paragraph 25 or by bank transfer (Bank Details on request).
23.
Payment by purchasers will be made to Hempstead Church. Artists will be paid the selling price for all items sold less 15% commission of the catalogue price.
Insurance
24.
Whilst every care will be taken, no responsibility for loss or damage can be accepted and Artists should make their own arrangements for insurance if so desired.
