2025 ResultsSales Commission from the sale of artwork and cards: £1,387 (2024 - £1,279). Thank you to all the artists for making this possible. Teas and refreshments: £1,613 (2024 - £1,048). Many thanks to all serving teas, coffees, cakes and lunches; bakers and bacon roll makers! The weather was kind so it was possible to have the refreshments outside again - it makes such a difference. WOW Half of the artists were new to Hempstead Arts this year. The exhibition looked amazing thanks to those who set up the hall and the rather laborious but essential task of hanging the pictures well. Income less expenditure: £3,624 Up from £3,020 last year. This can, in part, be attributed to having purchased a new set of road signs and incredible income from refreshments. Thank you everyone |
2026 EventMaximum Selling Price We like to make items for sale affordable so we set a maximum selling price which, this year, remains at £300. Publicity We feature examples of the work of artists taking part in most of our publicity. To this end we ask participating artists to select an image of one or two of the items that they intend to exhibit. If possible, the items must be selected from those that will be exhibited and, therefore, be no more than £300 (our maximum selling price). These images will be required sometime in June, please.
